Different books ask different questions

Writing and publishing involve judgement as well as procedures. Articles explain the reason for a choice and show how it might work through an example. An example is illustrative unless the text identifies a documented source; it is not a claim about a client project or the author’s personal experience.

Check the source for the actual job

Technical articles refer to original documentation where relevant. Printer specifications, platform requirements and software features can change. Use the documentation for the service, edition or device involved in your own project before submitting a file or making a production commitment.

Images and descriptions

The site uses photographs and illustrative images related to the subject of each article. An image does not establish a partnership, endorsement or a record of services performed. Product names appear where they help identify the tool or documentation being discussed.
